How do you save Kate Marsh?

Most likely you failed the last chance Bible question. Hint's for answering this correctly are in Kates Room if you investigate everythign carefully.

You have to choose the M (matheus or how he is called) answer and not the P one.

I only made one mistake and that was to say her mother cared about her, I didn't check her laptop to find out that her mom despises her. But I replayed the game to get all the photo achievements and correct that one choice

Depends, everytime you do something against her (Don't step in, telling Kate to wait for more proof and not answering her call) it adds another statement you have to "correctly" respond to. If you get through them all she lives, goof up twice and she jumps. If you get one question wrong she pulls out the question that needs the bible verse (Mathews).

I only got the bible quote the first time, but she jumped anyway, the second time I mentioned her mom and that had the same effect, but at the third time I tried I mentioned her dad she came down from the roof and she was safe, not sure if it works always, guess depending on your earlier actions.

You get one chance to say something Kate doesn't like, and if you say another thing she doesn't like, she jumps. At least, that's what I've seen from testing every possible combination of dialog with Kate disliking the three major choices that factor into the conversation.

I didn't get the bible quote dialogue but I do think mentioning her sisters near the end of the conversation helps she is close to them and the conversation following it shows she does care about them so I think that is the best answer there plus the photo of her happy with her sisters points to this. And anything you've done to help Kate (standing up from her. Erasing the mean messages written about her and the link to the video, answering her phone call) I think add up to helping to save her. I don't think there is one proper way to save her I think it's a mixture of things you've done and what you say to her which will change if she jumps or not

The Bible quote is the make or break option. You only get that for a previous failure.

It's a combination of factors, depending on what you say when she’s up there and things you did for her before. I personally never had to answer a bible quote; it never got to that stage for me. I told her to call the police, answered her call, and erased the link and messages. On the roof I told her to be strong as opposed to telling her that everyone will forget or that there are a bunch or other videos and her told her that her dad cares (although as far as I know the sisters work too).
