By the way: Chloe IS happy, at the end of Episode 3, even in the wheelchair. If William die, Joyce and Chloe are sad again. I would let it on the new timeline.
If max can travel back to a certain point, just by looking at a pic from the past, (very, Butterfly affect movie) "Which I love". Then MAYBE it could be possible to travel back to the precise moment and when Rachel disappeared. Maybe just by looking at one of the pics they found in the RV!.
Also, Max is wearing the same thing she always wears (bless) at the Vortex Club party.
