Changing Chloe's phone background

*Note* this is NOT about trouble with focusing the photo at the end, it worked just fine for me.

What I wish to know is whether it's possible to unlock a different background on Chloe's phone in Episode 3. When you're back from raiding the principal's office and resting at Chloe's, you're able to search her room and look at her phone. On my playthrough it showed a pictur eof Chloe and Rachel with Max making a comment about her being unable to replace Rachel. On a forum I read that it's possible for the picture to contain Max and Chloe.
Has anyone been able to achieve this, or was it just a joke? If one did get this outcome, what choices did you make to get it?

phew, so ignoring Kate's call is not necessary, so you can kill two birds with one stone: Save Kate AND have the new wallpaper :)

It's possible to save Kate even if you don't answer her phone. At least that's what I did on one of my save files, and I was still able to save her.
I don't know whether there is a combination of choices where you can't save her. I only observed that it's harder to save with each choice you don't make in her favour.

When she asks why you didn't answer, just say it was on silent mode.

Pretty sure it's mainly taking the money.... Kind of sad that these games often just take your most recent choice to decide how much someone likes you or how well they respond. It would be nice if it occasionally was affected by a more long term plus/minus system... Like:

Take blame for pot= +3
Don't accept call= +1
Shoot Frank= +3
Take picture of David and Kate, don't tell principal about Nathan, tell Chloe about David's files= +.5 each
Take money= +3
And then in order for her to change her background you'd need at least 6 points or something

I personally did everything pro-Chloe except for stealing the money, and not answering Kate; the phone still had Rachel for me.

Us as players? It's just a little interesting bit of information and it's cool seeing the game change.
Max? She's obviously a little envious of Rachel and of Chloe and Rachels relationship in particular.

I'd be quite disappointed if that's really the case. But based on my own playthroughs, it would seem the money does have a pretty big impact on her phone wallpaper.

Well, in my playthrough I almost always sided with Chloe (even though I really regrettet trying to shoot Frank... especially knowing you can get the gun back in episode 3 ^^").
Only two times I went against Chloe was: 1. I took Kates Phone call. 2. I didn't let Chloe take the money.
The background was Rachel. So I guess taking the money is very important in that case... or some dialogue-choices before which I made wrong (like joking that Rachel is "kicking it in LA", early in episode 3).

Well, i think it is about picking pro-chloe choices, i got max's face on the phone and i even picked up the phone when Kate called, but otherwise i always picked chloe options.

I choose money, and side up with Chloe with almost anything, except Kate's call. And I get the wallpaper. I think the money have big influence in this.

So I did a new playthrough and I noticed that Chloe disapproves when you tell the principal. I already started losing points before I even new it was her xD. On my current run I'm going to be super-duper nice and do everything Chloe wants me to do (which will most likely end in an apocalypse). I'm sure it will lead to a bad ending though...

It's not the principal thing. I always tell the principal. Can be:

1 - The money.
2 - Choosing the girl's bathroom (or something like that) before the pool.
3 - Do not show any interest in Warren or boys in general.
4 - Don't accept the Ape's Marathon in Episode 1.
5 - Others little details

Hi, you must do three of the four following things in order for Chloe to change her background to Max:

1. Take the blame for the pot OR intervene if you hid in the closet
2. Ignore Kate's phone call in the diner.
3. Attempt to shoot Frank.
4. Take the money from the principal's office.

Now I'm tempted to play the episodes again and skip Kate's call to get the third point.
