[spoilers] Theory about Chloe being vegan
So, when you are at Chloe's house, you get this commentary at the bathroom:

If Max is right, we can assume, then, that she is vegan when the game takes place.

But at Chloe's backyard, when you look at the barbeque, you get this commentary:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=384990518

We know, then, that William (Chloe's father) made burgers for Max and Chloe when he was alive.

Since Max knew that "Chloe wouldn't use animal products" when looking at the comestic products in the bathroom, then Chloe became vegan before Max left the town in 2007.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a "meat is murder" (or something like that) graffiti at the campus. Maybe Chloe did it.

We'll have to keep looking for more clues in the upcoming episodes. The next one we'll probably be visiting Chloe's mom workplace (which is kind of a dinner, I think). Let's hope we can confirm she keeps being vegan if they eat something there.

Not using animal products doesn't mean one is vegan. It means someone is against animal testing products.
And there are vegan burgers.
You are way off the tracks I'm afraid.

You sure do pay attention to things, haha. You might be onto something, even though it might seem a bit far-fetched. :shelterfrog:

Meat is tasty! Mmmmmmm/ How any cat and dog lover, who feeds his lovely pets with dead meat of other pets, could be a vegan with claim that he does not support cruelty against animals?
I mean for real, true vegans should feed their cats and dogs with vegetables only! If you feeding animals with other animals, you are contradicting your principles as vegan and make yourself a joke when you dont eat animals, since feeding animals by animals is support of cruelty against animals.

Exactly this. Few people go vegan unless they got a medical reason to do so (I'm not sure one exists, unlike for a vegetarian diet). But, avoiding products which rely heavily on animal testing is a wholly different thing and plenty people I know try to do that.

This.I don't think the BBQ comment is related to the animal testing.I think the BBQ shows of better times - when Chloe's father used to grill burgers for her and Max.That heavily contrasts Chloe's current situation - living with an abusive,overly-protective and paranoid step-dad.

Normally I would say you don't have basis. But...this is the friggin' Northwest.

But yeah, probably about the testing of cosmetics on animals

Well, yes, I'm afraid you are pretty coherent with this. I myself know some people who won't use cosmetics with animal ingredients or tested on animals, but doesn't care about other forms of exploitation. And I eat vegan burgers all the time :P So yeah, we can't conclude anything at the moment, buuut... you know, theories :P

I wanted to comment the bacon &eggs meal Chloe has, but you did so already. So yeah, Chloe isn't a vegan.
