proves my point
Couldn't figure out for the life of me why no one grabbed Nathan's gun when Warren knocked it out of his hand, though. :/
I think Nathans deteriorating mental health means that something inside of him is fighting the immoral stuff he is doing
At least Warrens SMS indicated that he "really doesn´t want to do it again", so at least I didn´t turn him into a brute, what somewhat eases my mind...but still, bad choice :/
but thinking about it a little i will say that is the safer choice ,nathan could kill warren in ep.5 for the "beat" choice and will act against max with no pity ,i hope that showing him some humanity will pay later ....
For those who haven't completed all of Episode 4 yet, feel free not to read on although it's somewhat relevant to this topic: I feel as if Nathan and Jefferson are working together with this whole drugging girls project for reasons currently unknown, but at the same time Nathan might be being used or blackmailed because of the photo where he also looks out of it like Rachel on the ground. I'm glad that Nathan took his gun back after Max stopping Warren because I trust in the chances that Nathan might end up losing his ♥♥♥♥ with Jefferson and side with Max in Episode 5. Also, in my second playthrough of Dark Room I managed to keep Frank alive and upon reaching the scene where we put together clues he seemed to be really friendly with Max which makes me think he might also be there to side with her in the next Episode. Last but not least we have David, since at the end of Episode 4 Chloe ended up, well... dying :x ... and because I chose to side with David in Episode 3 that might give him reason to side with us in Episode 5 if Nathan chooses not to.
The goal in my playthrough is to get as many potential allies as possible, allies who are intimidating like Frank and experienced like David. This is why I chose not to let Nathan recieve his comeuppance (Yet), so in the case that he does leave Jefferson's side for ours; Nathan will have a reason not to completely hate us and he'll be armed at the same time.
so one i will have beat the crap out of nathan (whcih was actually funny when he got a taste of his own medicine) and one i dont.
but agreed, i was also wondering why no one picked up the gun when you choose not to beat him up.
