Disaster Blaster is a roguelite automation card game, where you play as a mad scientist building the most over-the-top blaster in the galaxy. Each run is a loop of two alternating phases:

1. Upgrade phase: design your blaster's firing mechanism by evolving and optimizing a sequence of cards. Each card's effect and position determine how your weapon is built and how it shoots.
   
2. Testing phase: sit back and watch your creation unleash chaos on waves of increasingly powerful alien enemies and the unfortunate planets they live on.

We’re beyond excited to drop our biggest update yet — Disaster Blaster 1.2.0 is live! This patch brings major new features, visual upgrades, and a whole new way to experience chaos with your community. Let’s break it down:

Disaster Blaster is now fully playable on Linux. The Age of the Penguin has begun. 🔫🐧

Ever wanted to suffer for content? Now’s your chance.

Streamer Mode is a brand-new game mode that lets you connect Disaster Blaster directly to your livestream. Your audience becomes an active part of the mayhem — spawning enemies, sabotaging your blaster, and influencing the outcome in wildly unpredictable ways.

Streamer Mode supports both Twitch and TikTok Live. Here’s how it works:

Viewers spawn enemies named after themselves just by chatting.

A chaotic mini-game lets viewers try to destroy your cards during each run.

1. Voting phase: Viewers vote to destroy a card by typing a number (1–6) matching its position in your blaster.
   
2. Dice roll: Before your upgrade phase, you roll a die on-screen.
   
3. Luck vs chat: If the rolled number matches the top-voted card... it's gone. Bye-bye, upgrade!

Turns out, people really enjoy watching you suffer. 😉

We’ve revamped the look and feel of the game’s interface for a sleeker, more polished experience. It's still chaos, but it looks better now.

• Enemies under mind control no longer take friendly fire damage.
  
• Improved visual effects.
  
• Minor bugs have been fixed to keep things running smoothly.
