So about online matchmaking.

Recently found myself in a three hour training mode session this past weekend, so I guess I would say I'm officially hooked. I've been able to play a few online matches, but it's noticeably barren. I'm aware we're waiting on a GGPO update, but in the meantime what's been working out best for everyone? The pinned Skype group, just adding friends on Steam, or something else?
It's odd. The Steam page lists over 300 people in game at the moment, but I bet if I logged in I'd see none of them (yes, I've opened the suggested ports). Maybe things pick up when JP and others log on. I've tried setting language to any in matchmaking options but can't join their games regardless. *shrug* I guess that's part of what'll be fixed once the netcode update hits.
