Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm

Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm

Had to request a refund.
The game play was fine, however I could not get over the 640x480 res.

If the game gets updated with a proper resolution I'll look into rebuying it.

That's the resolution that the game runs at. Even if there were resolution options, it would just stretch it.

Doesn't change the fact that its 2015 and not 1995.

I would prefer it to at least have a native resolution thats a bit higher.

Thats usually the case with me also, but 640x480 is a bit too low. I would be okay with 1280x1020 as a min.

The reason that the game is in a 4:3 resolution is to promote fast and aggressive gameplay. If the game was a 16:9 or 16:10 resolution than that would mean there is more room to walk on the stages meaning it would be easier to play a keep away game which is not the intention of this specific game. Some things like Kou's EX Kagebi > AA1 wouldn't always connect, if they changed either move to work with a wider resolution than it would be extremely powerful.

Basically the 4:3 helps with the balance of the game.

I dont buy that for a second. 3Soe can be played fine at 16 9 and its the same game it always was

Notice that the pixels are no longer square when you do that.

Yeah the resolution wont have any impact on how the game is played.

Look at fightcade for example, you can set any resolution or aspect ratio you want and it does not change the gameplay.

yteah, arcana heart 3, chaos code, melty blood, such terrible, TERRIBLE games because they don't support 16:9

It doesn't effect the gameplay because it does not actually change the resolution, just stretches it to fit the screen. And to be hoenst, it looks terrible.

It dosen't have to support 16:9. 4:3 is fine, but why not higher res 4:3? Something like 1440 x 1080.

640 x 480 is really really out dated.

This has been a common complaint recently. Perhaps the developers will take it into mind in a future update. Until then, the game is as they intended, resolution-wise at least.

That's really my main complaint. I can live with all the other stuff, but I can't see my self spending a lot of hours trying to practice the game when its in such a small window.
