the music is amazing from what ive heard watching youtube videos

my task is to inspect upstairs....i can't get up the stairs stuck at bottom? edit: i was able to complete game but not sure if it's just me or what? I had to back up go forward a bit and repeat that several times until i could get up the stairs, sometimes when i ran sideways facing the walls i didn't have issues. happened every single time i had to go up any stairs basement and 2nd floor. sometimes if i kept shift engaged i wouldn't have issues but not every time. very weird...
