I'm 28. I started on PC in late 90's the golden age of base building rtses. Till early 2k, alot of titles, some in 2005till 2010, and now the genre is near extinction (company of heroes 2 & starcraft 2 are the only rtses of these last few years... nothing else). I researched this a while back because I was having the above issue(units "catching on fire" and dying between 2-5 minutes into the first mission) and discovered it apparently had something to do with a built in anti-cheat for the game that wasn't recognizing the Steam licensed version of the game. Did anyone else have this problem? If you DID... did it ever get fixed?...

I have quite a fond memories of playing this, but the problem is that the story seems to leave out one big lore hole after another, who made and controlling the sentinels? What is this parasite apart from being known for a big plasma emitting worm? Where does this parasite originated in? What causes the first apocalypse on earth? Why is the yellow parasite corpse on earth for so long but the sentinels did nothing? What would happened to Ethan after destroying the parasite? I have played all the mission ...

Hello, so I picked up this game back in 2015 - 2016 and played the first level for about 20 mins, thought it looked fun, then life happens and it is now 2019 and i have 5 mins free to give it a go again...
