Boar vs Wolf
A boar and a wolf are fighting... Do they actually hurt eachother? They have been at it for a while and I have a spear trap ready for the winner. Am I wasting my time?

No, boar vs wolf(or wolves pack) it's a stalemate. The boar will never hit the wolf (they easily dodge the charge) and the wolves will not hit the boar either.

Bear vs anything = bear always wins.

Snakes vs anything = given enough bites you get insta kill, otherwise they will die from the poison (I tested this with a single wolf vs 1 snake, took a while - not as long as the player venom phase, and the wolf died from poison). You need 1 snake for 1 rabbit, 2 snakes for a boar and 3 for a wolf = to get insta kill from bite damage. Good luck trying to get 4+ snakes to bite a bear without getting yourself bitten / mauled - too risky for me to test it out :)

Bears take 4 snake bites to die. And that's actually easier to setup as you might think.

I've seen an encounter when a boar killed a wolf. Or 3 wolves killed a boar. But most of the time, nothing happens.

This is the case for boar vs wolf. Bear kills wolf with 2 or 3 hits.
