Anything special in Endless mode? Worth playing?

I just beat the campaign, and honestly by the end of it I was pretty sick of the repetitive gameplay. I had easily 10+ clean water, 15+ jerky, a fully upgraded raft, 2 bear clothing items and 3 wolf ones, and I felt like I was just going through the motions.

I really enjoyed the core concept, and the game feels great for the first 4-5 hours, but once you learn how easy it is to kill wolves (tained meat/bait), and once you have a large supply of cattails/saplings, the game becomes pretty trivial. I never even really needed Penicillin, and most the game I spent looking for lumber and flint (since I had plenty of literally everything else).

Is there anything new/not in the main game in Endless? Is it notably harder? Or have I experienced the entire game mostly?

Nothing different but getting achievements. I'm at 204 miles in endless and well stacked with supplies. Remember though, one wrong move can end you, all the clean water in the world won't fix a bad choice.

Does the temperature get colder over time? i'm on day 10 with base clothing and I'm fine.
