I am deep in endless mode, just finished my 200 miles, figured I'd go for the Iron Stomach achievement, I've eaten everything except Tainted Bait. Does it even spawn anymore or is it just super rare now?

Yeah it's somewhat rare and sometimes you have to struggle a little bit, performing the search especially on a large desert location. Guess you know how to save many baits by throwing and taking them away before the wolf starts to eat.
