Feeding white wolf poinsed meat bug

Essentially ran into the white wolf, got the quest, threw him poisend meat, and all he did was run away out of the map. No corpse, no completion. Kinda irked about it. Even went and slept to see if that reset him, but no he's gone for good.

Is not a bug Dekarflamon.
The White Wolf and Elder Wolf are more tough (and smart) than the normal wolves. Just one tainted meat (or arrow) will not kill them.

If you try to kill any of them with arrows, they will flee after the first hit them.

The real fun is to find the right way to do it, but if you do not have the patience to figure out how, just see the tip below (spoiler).

Try to stack (in the exact same place) 3 Spring Spear Traps and then, attract the white wolf to this stacked trap with Tainted meat.

huh ok will give it a try thank ya. That being said I still find it odd that they will eat the tainted bait and still live.

White wolf is a ghost and he run away from me and dissapear, i even didn shoot him

Wolves only require 1 Spear Trap, Bear Takes 2 + Bow, or 3 traps. If you have the quest unresolved the wolf will eventually spawn again elsewhere.

good to know, i finished the game without beating the Wolve and Bear.
