Hello pensioners and pigeon lovers!

We hope that you’ve so far enjoyed playing The Bench demo. Since we launched on Monday, we’ve already received almost one hundred completed feedback forms, which means the absolute most to us!

You’d be pleased to know that as of today, we’re launching a major demo update, which includes many updates directly from your feedback, as well as minor bug fixes, and new languages.

We want to stress the importance of continued dialogue through your feedback forms, and via our community Discord[discord.gg], your comments, thoughts and feedback helps us shape the game for you, so keep ‘em coming!

If you download The Bench demo today, you will be able to play it in Spanish LATAM, Spanish Spain, Turkish and Brazilian Portuguese, as well as the already available languages: English, Italian, Japanese, French, Ukrainian and Russian.

Here are all the major updates from this new build:

• Reworked the movement system: a lot of you shared similar feedback, so we hope we've hit the nail on the head with the new system
  
• Improved pigeon handling - another big request!
  
• Reworked some parts of the map and bench placements
  
• Revised the throwing system
  
• Made some UI improvements
  
• Added new settings
  
• Improved translations
  
• Revised the party area
  
• Added fast travel between benches via the map
  
• Reworked the brick-pigeon
  
• Fixed the demo end menu
  
• Fixed Ukrainian and Russian language teething issues after thorough LQA
  
• Updated the font to better suit the Cyrillic alphabet
  
• Other general fixes

We’re pleased to finally welcome you to sit on The Bench with us! The demo is live, and playable for the Steam Next Fest, and the following three weeks after it.

If this is your first time here, why not watch the gameplay explainer trailer whilst you’re downloading our demo!

You’ll already find today’s build translated in English, Italian, Japanese, French, Ukrainian and Russian, whilst Turkish, Spanish (Latam & European), German, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Brazilian Portuguese, Korean and others will make their way inside the demo during the coming weeks, or will be available at full launch.

We hope you’ll have lots of fun discovering our game world, feeding our friendly pigeons and exploring the park.
