I agree completely! It is like you are given a square section of countryside and being told "Make a battlefield out of this!" instead of being given a battlefield and being told "You will battle here!". I like how it takes from Wargame in the sense that roads and bridges are important. But sometimes it feels like theres even more freedom about it, especially after realizing how essential it is to contruct outposts to cover those flanks. In Wargame, some cross sections were so important, you couldn't afford not to take them.
