I think we have good chances - Act of War got a Mapeditor with a patch
Would love to see that for AoA too

Agree - Would likely to see the tools!

I have no idea if there will be a mapeditor. AoA runs on steam though, so the workshop would be a nice place to upload them!

The moment a powerful map editor like in Generals or Grey Goo is released is the moment I am going to purchase this game - well, when I can afford it at that moment!

This would be great.

Generals had a good editor. Hopefully we'll get the same wirh AoA, but i doubt it because Wargame and RUSE have not had an editor, and the engine seems very similar.

I hope you change your minds. :)

Community-made maps might give the game more traction in the competitive scene (which arguably keeps multiplayer games alive longer; netting more sales in the long run).

Mods would be nice too, but I'm personally not one to stray from the standard ranked gameplay of these types of games.

Definitely agreeing on him at the matter for the editor

Map Editor Tools had shown how community-near and of course, how the game gains automatically more attraction - hence , more popularity therefor more sales equal to costumer Satisfaction!

I agree with this. One of the reasons I still play coh2 to this day is the fact that whenever I start to get bored I can just get some new maps and try out some new mods. Game suddenly gets fun again.
