New maps?

I love playing some shirmish from time to time, only problem is that Im getting boored with the maps. I wish to have more turtle maps and stuff like that. Is mod support on the way or any new maps packs? :D

No they dont care about the game. but it is a fact, the game will die soon without new maps or other stuff. i dont understand that. the best example is company of heroes. without the mod and map support, it would never have been so successful. or eugen and the devs dont wanna make money...

They care VERY MUCH about the game.

This game is better than CnC Generals IMO and does so many thigns right.

But the current generation of MAN BOY GAMERS who want easy gaming, who can't handle a longer than normal learning curve, who cannot accept losing to learn to win have not taken to the game thus forcing the Devs to have to recode and wework the entire game to please you baby gamers.

Less time to work on maps or other good stuff because of having to re-work the complete game to cater to you baby gamers.

now the 12 year olds that asked for a reboot have proven themselves to be full of #### and gone back to playing with whatever toy they find in their pocket.. maybe the devs can put the new maps onto the original where the real playerrs still wait in hope

most likely will not happen, anytime someone says maps for the vanilla game they simply ignore it and only respond to anything about the reboot, its bs that they are ignoring the vanilla game, it was so much better and actually involved strategy. The only thing i like about the reboot is that its a bit similar to this game predessesor, act of war. controllable builder units, and one resource but even then. the only thing i want from the reboot in the vanillia game is the controllable builder units and maps. thats it

What annoyed me about the reboot is that people complained...

"I CAN'T HANDLE MORE THAN 1 RESOURCE!"

...yet I bet these very same people play games like Age of Empires or Rise of Nations. Both of which have 4+ resources. So they can handle them, but not AoA?

Gimme a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ break.

Actually, they have statistics and most of players play Reboot. Of course they work on the Reboot since they can make more money on that, because 1 resource system is superior and more balanced, and just more fun since you aren't ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you can't get one type of resources which happens a lot. Most people want this game to be like good old C&C Generals and the closer it is to it, the more people will buy it. I hope that they implement C&C like shortcuts (like select all units etc).

so did they ever port over the new maps for the reboot to the vanilla, i am not going to waste space on my pc if they didnt i will save room for the next few dlcs for wargame red dragon if thats the case.
