We are excited to share, that we just launched our very first playtest! Make sure to sign up on our Store page, to grant access as early as possible.
Over the next few weeks we will grant access to more and more playtesters.

Please note:

Bugs and localisation issues are to be expected!
For this very first playtest we only support English and German localisation in the Game.
More locales will follow!

Steam Deck and Controller support is in! If you encounter any issues with the Controls, please let us know via Discord.
To Use/Buy/Sell Items use R1/RB
If you find yourself stuck with D-Pad, use the Left Stick
Reordering Letters/Stickers can be achieved by holding X/A and using the Left Stick

Is French really planned? + UI feedback

Hi! Game is fun :-) I was wondering if French is really planned? It's mentionned on the steam page, but I was wondering if it was just for the translation of the UI or if the game will really be playable in French, with French words and French letter distribution (and points). Also, I wanted to give a little feedback regarding the UI: - When moving a selected letter to another spot in the word, I expect the letter to be placed at the position I'm dropping it, without the other letter to be swapped. Visual Overhaul and Design Adjustments

We have been working a lot on the game recently and one of the big topics was the visual overhaul. So far we only had placeholder assets, to make a playable prototype.
This has changed now, and we are proud to present our new visual style for the game!

Let us know what you think of the new Style!

Additonally, we renamed our Enhancement System to "Stickers", as they fit nicely into the new Style. You'll be able to collect a big variety of stickers, with several different variations, such as Foil, Holo, Golden, Reverse, and more. The Stickers will be the deciding factors for your run!

We are looking for some suggestions for Stickers to integrate into the game, that fit into the Game Design. As an example, which visible in the Screenshots: An Octopus sticker that grants +8 Mult.

Feel free to add your ideas below! We would love to add iconic items from other Games as Stickers, so if you have something in mind, let us know!

One last thing: We will soon be launching our Discord server! Keep your eyes open for that.

what kind of save system does the game have? how about other basic functionality? the video on the store page is absolutely useless (why is it even a video, it's a single image) and the screenshots don't show any of the settings either.

Some feedback

Reposting this from the playtest forum . It is unclear which letters are considered vowels. I expected "y" to be counted as one but it's not. There needs to be two areas for letters: one for letters to keep, another for letters to discard. Rearranging letters in hand is very inconvenient. Often I accidentally discard letters I meant to keep because I lost track of what I need for the word I'm trying to build....

Initial playtest feedback

No 2560x1440 resolution. Font of tiles isn't very clear, in particular O looks quite like a D. I have reasonable eyesight and it it bothers me, people with poor eyesight will complain down the line. No sorting of hand by alphabetically or vowels/cons alphabetically. Vowels seem to be in very limited supply. Dragging tiles around the play area isn't easy, e.g. dragging the last tile to be the first doesn't always work. Tutorial says to press tab to show letters in bag, but that doesn't work, I had to click ...
