Can you keep your Items?!
I keep going through the dungeon and my items are just dissapearing afterwards, its deeply frustrating and pissing me off a bit... I mean I had my hero looking pretty cool by the end of the last dungeon.

your deck/equimpent reset when you die or finish a dungeon. so yes youll start each mission back at level 1 with basic cards

Thats stupid, it completely erases any sense of progress or accomplishment for finishing a dungeon...
I got unlocked a store and black smith and it said I would get 4 rare items, these never appeared and never had a option to equip them..

Items has a level and only enemy or chest with this level can spawn them.
If you keep all items after a dungeon run, you never have the need to search for new items, because you can later get the best items real fast.

At the start i also found this mechanic dull, but later it is the only way to challange.

The game has not many items, not many classes and not many level up, almost no Progession. I like the game really, but it is not a masterpiece, it is a RPG/tactical game light with a different angle.

A lot of early access games has way more content then this game, but i repeat: It is fun to play and this is the only thing that matters.

The game progress is .....You upgrade your guild by buying new rooms ie blacksmith, leatherworks or barracks which give you a new class to use. These upgrades "ADD" cards to your loot drop. Your job as player is to build a dungeon big enough for your "NEW BEST" cards to come through as you defeat higher monsters . So place low level enermies to begin and build up your equipment,it can be a grind as you have no idea when the high cards will show. The game rewards your choice's as you need to balance your hand against magic & melee opponants.

I feel like with a few tweaks and alterations to the games systems it couild have been something very special, changing the pace at which the game moves and rate at which you upgrade and more items, I mean they dont seem all that hard to come up with and graphically they are rather simple, coming up with hundreds of weapons and armors would have been relatively simple, iv seen modders do some impressive things for games in the past like adding that amount of content and so I doubt the creator would be incapable.

It's a Roguelike. The whole concept of the genre is to start fresh each new run.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roguelike

You progress by earning Gold and using them to unlock new (more powerful) classes and items to drop in your Dungeon runs.

It would still have been a roguelike if individuals kept there levels and gear, Dwarf fortress one of my favorite roguelikes of all time lets you keep your ♥♥♥♥ till you die, than you restart fresh.

The problem here is its exacution, Azure dreams a roguelike for the PS1 made you lose all your levels when you left a dungeon, however you keep your gear and that was a way of feeling yourself steadily advance, the issue here is that there is no thrill to advancement, there's no satisfaction to finding that next item and wondering what it will be, and there should be, the only gain here is money and it just simply doesnt feel as satisfying...

it all has a very, mobile game kinda feel and I am sure it would be a decent time waister on a hand held gadget but as it is I just cant find a reason to devote a lot of time to it..

Ultimately, the game was designed and balanced around the idea that you're going into each dungeon with a fresh start. Yea, they could have designed it differently, leveling you up into the double didgits and giving you hundreds of different equipment drops, but that's not the game the developers wanted to make.

I know, thats why its less of a flaw and more of the fact that I just dont like the idea the game was based around, when I saw the trailers and reviews I had a different expectation of what I was getting.
So in the end its not really something that can be tweaked or modded its a gripe I have with the way the game was made and its end goal, not something that can be helped and not necessarily a bad thing, just something I cant get on board with.
