When buying a new items building when they appear for the first time they show on a smaller size and when scrolling they rearange to be bigger and looks choppy-weird.
Also, I miss the animations of open/close cards :P
Here are a few of my early observations/bug reports/generally whiny opinions after playing for around 2 hours on my iPad Air with the latest iOS.
- Hanging state on "A new dungeoneer has arrived" while opening the "options" menu. Could not return to the guild map. Tested again when unlocking a new dungeoneer and was able to duplicate the hang.
- As mentioned above, the text is coming out a bit small and difficult to read in some sections. Specifically on the guild book intros and some explanation text. It's readable, but it required a closer proximity than from where I was sitting.
- On the "Choose Your Loot" screen after winning a battle, some of the bottom most card text is cut off.
- On "Expand Guild -> Loot" when you touch on an item the cards for that item are show but you cannot go back to the items. Strangely, the item next to the one selected will appear as selectable by swiping left or right.
- A battery life indicator/icon would be nice for not having to leave the game to check.
- Just a minor personal opinion but I would change the app icon to spell out "Guild of Dungeoneering" instead of spelling out "GoD"
That's it for now. I'll be playing throughout the week and the weekend and report on any other things I find. Thanks for porting this game to mobile. It feels right at home and I can't wait to play more! Cheers!
What device are you on? The two screens that have been majorly overhauled for phones are the battle screen and the loot screen - I think both of those are very legible and usable on phones now. But I agree with you that there's a lot of text elsewhere in the game that's super small on an iPhone SE say. I'm going to look into improving some more of the screens.
You can swipe up to get your character sheet. You are right though, tapping should be enough too. Haven't seen the building issue - you able to grab a screenshot of it? What's your handset again?
- Able to screenshot the choose your loot screen being cut off? Very interested in which device you are on now!
- Same deal with the expand guild -> loot screen, I'd love to see what you are getting there. This is how it looks on an iPhone SE for reference:

- the icon is just a placeholder for now
- and thanks for the other feedback, too!
- Would say that I somehow expected zoom in any map (not that is required, just a feeling).
- Once you get to play (or maybe I knew) you realize that the darkened cards are also in your hand, but they feel as "unavailable" dark.
- Is people going to have a hard time figuring out what traits are doing?
- Are gameplay sessions going to be stored? (the SO wipes out the process quickly at least in my 5cheap iphone :P )
For the the choppy things I was saying:

(It feels like they adjust just on a drag event, not when the thing is created)
I am playing on an iPad Air 2 (model # A1566) with the latest iOS.
- The hang with the options screen and new dungeoneer does occur with the option screen in the background: http://imgur.com/2x5tUbf
- I am seeing it as a hang because the only thing I can do is rename the dungeoneer. The music continues to play but all other touch inputs are unresponsive.
- Here is the choose your loot screen shot: http://imgur.com/lQrpkrs (no cropping on this image)
-That's what I'm seeing on the expand guild -> loot screen so I guess that's OK
Here are some new minor bugs to report:
- When "choose your loot" equip screen is up and you swipe your character info up and then down, this causes the "you gain.../you loose..." cards to dissapear.
- Getting some cards to randomly scale with big hands. Example: http://imgur.com/YA1YoRL
- Not sure if this is intentional or not but when I am prompted with a choice for an enemy discard, I cannot see my own hand. I would think that being able to decide your play around the discard with what you have in hand would be ideal.
- Finally, some of the card/ability explanation descriptions are a bit clunky to call up. I'm never sure when to tap or to hold the touch. It's not the same as with a cursor where you can hover over or click.
That's it for now! Cheers!
Overall it seems to run pretty smooth on my device.
I prefer the mobile UI over the large scale, but it could be played in either on my device.
Would it be possible to show the traits without having to open another view in the Mobile UI?
Do you plan to implement achievements (via gamecenter or google play games) like in the Steam version?
That would make it perfect for me.
Three bugs I've noticed (couldn't get a screenshot of the third, sorry.)
http://imgur.com/a/nxURJ
1) Traits on the trait screen are sometimes miscaled. Doesn't happen every time.
2) I got a crash immediately after defeating the Mimic boss.
3) Sometimes the loot cards on the loot screen appear super small, but then return to normal size if you tap the tiny card to select one of them.
Thanks for all the feedback. Agree some sort of zoom w/ pinch would be nice, let me think about it.
Gameplay sessions should be stored already. Any time you quit if you reopen the app and load your game it should continue even if you were mid-dungeon. Are you saying that doesn't happen if you force-quit the app?
