optimal play is boring
is there a reward for completing dungeons faster? Like the less turns it takes the more gold you make or something? Because currently it seems to me that the ' best' way to play is to continually feed your dungeoneer favour and tier 3 fights until your deck is exactly what you need to win.

this has also made the game pretty easy.

Sid Meier said something like players will optimize the fun out of any game, and I seem to have done that.

I am aware that some missions are timed, but I have done something like 6 now which aren't.

Is there actually an award for going faster that I'm missing? My greed causing me to lose more often would vastly improve the game for me. Or if there's another solution I'm not aware of our like to know.

Thank you!

P.S. I am typing and playing the game with voice commands so I apologize for spelling mistakes, and would also just like to say that I appreciate that playing the game is possible, with a bit of set up, so even more reason to figure out how to stop the grind!

No. You generally get better rewards by playing slower in this game - assuming you're collecting extra gold along the way. So if you want to grind a dungeon for real time days, in theory you could amass a fortune in gold and unlock nearly all the rooms.

oh okay. That's a shame. I guess I can just self-imposed time limits. Thanks for letting me know.
