If you ever get stucked in a situation where you can't do literally anything it will probably fix by Alt + F4 and loading again, sorry. It really is a feature not a bug. Restarting the whole game when pressing New Game ended up being a really difficult task the way we made the game. So we ended up doing a trash but working solution. There is no coyote time in this game, it felt really weird with the pole movement. What we did to make it easier is that you can move Dusty to look where you wanna jump, press the jump button an Dusty will automatically move to the edge and start the pole jump. If you find any hard jump for you, try standing still, aiming with Dusty and jump. If Dusty actually jumps instead of running to the edge, try moving a little bit and jump again.
