Have you tried to simply ask him, just for the heck of it?
Other famous celebrities have showed up for weirder things, including the queen of england for some random couples wedding. simply because they asked and also probably because there was cake.

By the way i am not sure if cake will motivate J. K. Simmons after he became a body builder, But its worth a try.
Ironically enough now he is only missing being a war hero and a astronaut then he got all it takes to become the ultimate test subject himself.
I have to admit that he have don a pretty good job with the core.
Having read the article, i should point out that there is a small difference, in asking the queen over to come say Hi on their wedding because she happend to be in the same building that same day, does make it all easier.
I assume if J.K. Simmons just happend to be visiting the game studio, im sure they would have asked him...
