New Songs Added

• A new track has been added to the intro at the start of the game.
  
• A new title theme has be added.
  
• A new ending theme has been added.
  
• Chase music has been added when Death appears.

Game Play Changes

• A nun to Ninja transformation has been added to the start of each stage.
  
• A stage clear screen has been added.
  
• A slight pause has been added after player death and a "death jingle" has been added.

Game Balance

• The final boss room as been altered to be more forgiving.

I like to do weekly updates, but I missed last week. I'm still pretty annoyed about it! Also, this update is much smaller than originally planned... Still, I was surprised by how many people asked for this specific addition, so I'm glad to finally have it in. It was supposed to come along side other requested features, but they are taking a bit longer to implement than anticipated. I may have to switch to doing updates every other week, but if possible I'll try to have something new for you guys to check out every Friday until I've at least tried to address every bit of fan feed back in one way or another. When I originally developed the game I gave myself nine months to complete the project and I promised myself that I would force myself to finish and release something in that time frame, so that I wouldn't spend endless hours polishing something only to never finish. However, I love hearing from you guys and I have a lot of fun trying to respond to you with these changes, so thanks again.

Sound Updates

• Nearly every single sound effect has been remixed.
  
• The priority of SFX has been improved to make playback more consistent.
  
• Several new sound effects have been added.
  
• A new options menu has been added to allow volume levels to be adjusted.

Bug Fixes

• Various Typos were corrected.
  
• Certain enemy animations now play properly.
  
• A bug where certain enemies will suddenly rapid fire projectiles has been fixed.

This seemingly small update quickly became far more irritating to implement then I expected, but I think the outcome was well worth it. I tried to make sure that audio still plays and cuts off in a period accurate fashion while generally improving sound. There's also new options menus that allow you to adjust volume from inside the game! There's a chance that a few effects won't react to changing the settings, but if you let me know about it I'll fix it. I tried my best to catch them all, but I probably missed a couple. It won't effect game play very much, so I decided that the most important thing was to get the update out on time. I have bigger and more exciting things planned for future updates, but this was an important one.
