Hi! About how long to see & do everything in game? :) Is there a weapon that makes things a tiny bit easier?

Sorry to come up with this again after reading the already existing threads about keyboard support. This one's kinda a mix. I feel like the game has a lot of potential. I had fun playing it and the loop seemed very interesting. Game mechanics as well! Despite sticking with it, what immediately put me off was aiming. So not exactly related to playing with a controller, but being able to only aim in eight directions felt very ... cumbersome? Depending on the equipped weapon, it just got worse. I knew free-...

On launch controller just isnt recognized? When i use keyboard it still displays controller inputs but my controller isnt functioning at all. Just used the controller on a different game with no issues. Help would be appreciated.
