Game will not launch

Was really looking forward to this, but despite my system being more than enough to run this, and I verified the integrity of the game files, when I hit launch it just says that its launching and then nothing. Any fixes or do I need to refund? I also tried restarting, no dice.

What worked for me was adding the BASEBALL.exe to exploit protection.
settings/windows security/app and browser controller/exploit protection settings/program settings
hit add and scroll till you see force randomization for images (mandatory ASLR)
check Override system settings and then check off and apply.
Not sure if it will work for everybody but worked for me.

I have tried on two desktops and a laptop and the game never loads when it looks like it might, when I tried to stream the game from one of my desktops I get a loading screen then it crashes.

Same for me, not launching. Also "Turn on DEP for essential Windows Programs and services only" was already selected on my computer so that's a bust for me. Rip

Also worth noting, when I try to just launch the .exe in the game folder I get this error code "the application was unable to start correctly 0xc0000142"

No problem for me. I don't have a fix but launches and plays fine for me. On my third game in my league.

I really want this to get fixed because I played this game a ton as a kid growing up. If this doesn't get fixed by next week, I'm going to have to uninstall the game and I really don't want to do that. So I hope this gets fixed and that it gets fixed soon.
