Reboot?

I've probably asked this before, but hey. A reboot of the game would be lovely. Try to replicate the original's appearance as closely as possible, and for that authenticity, use the sprites both as refrence and sort of a pseudo-overlay for the models and their textures to give them the same "feel" as sprites.

What I mean by this is, recall the title intro? Yeah. That. Make them like the FMV videos of old.

Assuming System Shock: ReBooted works, I'd love for the team of that to them come along and do Strife: The Quest for the Sigil (and call the multiplayer component "Trust No One") and expand upon it with system shock elements- but without detracting from existing gameplay.

Maybe even just call it Strife 2.

I'm pretty sure they were going to, but didn't have the money. As is with system shock 2 (a game with a deeply fanatical following and widely respected) They've only just barely made their first strech goal with a week to go.

Strife would be a far harder sell.

Well, I'm sure they'll try again after system shock. That's already succeeded the kickstarter. Let's see what happens.

Doubt it, they are probably going to focus on SS3 after System Shocks remaster is out.
