I already see some similarity between Holly's and Heather's house.
Yeah, Olivia wasn't known as a headmaster in the previous game. And this earthquake, I mean the journalist that connects these events (earthquake - gala) offers even more perspective to the story. Think about it: the gala was happening at the Administration building, Holly just popped in that timeline, Jack kills everyone, Christopher runs away, Holly being strapped to the Enlightenment chair.
I think that when we wake up at the Enlightenment Room, that's where Part 2 was left, that is what is true. Holly's house offers a connection with Heather's house. Then the high school is what Part 3 actually begins with. Pretty hard to know where one Part ends and where one Part starts. At this point, Dimmie made an intriguing net of connections with all the three Parts.
Now we have to know where we left (gala - Enlightenment - ....) to know where we're going (physically or psychically).
Sorry for my long discussion. I have a hard time containing my excitement.
Well, Elena, you speak of a timeline - and maybe there IS a timeline. But, like i've presented in other threads, I think we're looking at a timeline split in two... mirror worlds.
In one world everything has gone wrong and that's why we see houses, estates - yes, all of Dark Falls in shambles. In this world Heather is dead. But also, Dahlia hides here, when she is not trying to help Holly uncover the truth: All the experiments that she was exposed to, in order to provoke some reaction/response from her. I think Dahlia is trying to show Holly what horrors she was experiencing, ex. in the Enlightenment chair among other things.
The entity we refer to as SHE/HER is not Dahlia. SHE is responsible for the massacre in the Asylum. SHE is trying to help all three sisters. But SHE is torn by grief. She was Elisabeth Stonehouse, but was transformed (along with the timeline) in the ritual at the church.
The purpose of the photography in front of the High School is still a puzzle. Is it manipulated? After all, the girls are not at High School age...
Another thing is that Dahlia was violent / institutionalized. How can she stay put in this photo?
... and why did Dahlia react violently? Or was she misunderstood?
Heather saw a creepy girl in her house. It was probably Dahlia, trying to reach Heather across mirror-worlds.
At some point Hewather got locked up in her own basement. By who?
In Holly's vision (Part 1) we see HER kneeling by lit candles. Maybe praying?
