What does the trophy "play the game with tank control" mean?
Need to play the whole game without using cursor?

It means you have to play it without the point and click controls; yes.

You have to play it the 'original' way, using the keyboard with the WASD controls :)

Tank controls is how the game was made to be controlled in the first place. It was actually either the directional keys, or the numerical ones. I just tried activating it, and it seems you will have to play through the game with those controls exclusively. So yeah :)

The WASD layout is actually a newer control scheme that fits the controller-type of input. You should try all of them out at least. I kinda like the mouse controls they implemented in the game, though it's far from necessary to enjoy the game.

So the achievement is void if any mouse controls are used during an entire playthrough? The technical specifics are a little ambiguous for this one...

yes, that is my concern too.
However, i had played this game before. I think that should be fine.

Not sure how this works, either. If you move the mouse, does that invalidate your progress?

I just finished the game and got the achievement. It seems all you need to do is go to the options menu and switch the control type to tank at the start of the game, then leave it there until you finish.

I opted to start a new game with the newly set options to make sure it counted. I played the rest of the game primarily with the mouse, but the options still said Tank. Got the achievement still.
