Is there a hint-system built into this game?
Just wondering.

I'm 95% sure the answer is no. The original game had no hint system and neither does Double Fine's more recent Broken Age. I've gone through all the options and controls menus on this remastered version and see no indication of a hint system anywhere.

If you have trouble or get stuck there's a plethora of walkthroughs out there (some of the no spoiler variety). If that doesn't suit you, you can always take to the forums here or on Double Fine's boards. In any case, except for a couple puzzles, Grim Fandango is pretty good about every puzzle being logical and not tremendously difficult to figure out.
Nope. Other than everything you need to solve any puzzle being in the same nearby scene, and that you're going to be able to complete the game by listening to the dialogue and reasoning a little bit - no hints, of any kind, at all.
Thanks for the quick answers.
the only hint system in this game is the head, its turning when pickable/interacting object are near but you can get stuck anyways :P
No, but you can't really get stuck, so just keep on trying!

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and you know it. There were serveral moments where I got stuck and the only reason why I didn't remain stuck there was because someone informed me on what to do. this game is brutal on that
Compared to early Adventure Style games where if you forgot to pick up an item in Act 1, and therefore could not complete Act 4, this game is VERY VERY forgiving. The times have changed, but this remains a fair, and reasonably challenging adventure game.
