[BUG?!] I can't see the main character.

Note: If my english is not understandable, please inform me so I will try to explain in a different way.

I don't know the name of him since it would be my first time playing this game :) (I believe it is Grim) but the thing is; game starts, and i'm only able to see the shadow of the main character. I'm able to play without remastered mode but i don't want to. Disabling "advance lighting" solves the problem but then it causes another problem, which is; character basically paints the background, where he goes, the background gets greenish, like in the old windows' when you finish "solitaire", cards leaps and paints the path.

I tried to update my ATI graphics card but I ended up with 800*600 resolution + this time game gives the common "opengl" error, which makes it even worse. Any help?

Actually I have the same problem:
advanced lighting on: I just can't see Manny
advanced lighting off: dropped shadow movements

... what a pity. Money wasted for a good game

Thank you but the thing is, a computer should be able to run this game if it is able to run GTA5. These OpenGL errors are definitely not related with old drivers.

As I said, updating the driver was even worse, I got an error. At least, I can start the game with old driver.

I played the game just fine fully through - but now that I've returned to it just over a month later my save file has a partially invisible Manny much like OP. freud, was your pause menu broken too?

1/ Just because one game works doesn't mean you don't require the latest drivers for your graphics card. You should always be using the latest drivers for modern games.

2/ GTAV isn't out yet, so how can you be sure, exactly?

1/ do you literally believe that this game doesn't work because of the capacity of graphics cards? My computer says I have 4.1 OpenGL, game only needs 3.3 (or something, i don't remember the exact numbers). plus, i'm not sure you read carefully: the problem gets even worse when i update drivers. 2010 version driver can run the game (but yes, i cant see the main character). new driver gives "opengl" error which means, this time, i cant even start the game. explain this to me.

2/ system requirements lab dot com. not exactly but works 99%. the other 1 percent is for games like grim fandango remastered (which says i can run it)

the number of people who get that error is abnormal. most probably, it is related with game itself.

I have the exact same card; couldn't solve the problem and refunded the game.

I fixed this problem by switching the Remaster Mode OFF to Origal mode ! :O
It might not be the remaster version you have paid of but the character might be seen so .... Better than nothing??
