a bit later, when talking to the woman at the resistance, she got stuck too.
i was half standing in the doorway
the next try, i stood more to the south of her, and that fixed it.
The bug here is still present. Although my experience is this;
After seeing all the messages here, I decided to left the game running while Glottis started to a move a bit. That 1 second animation of him moving a bit, made him turn to maybe 1 degree Slowly but surely, he actually turned left, very slowly. After a while, he managed to turn 90 degrees counterclockwise.
I left the game running while I watched a YouTube video, and I noticed it took roughly 7 minutes.
Then he was able to talk to Manny (the main character) and therefore, the game was able to continue.
Long story short, 7 minutes for the bug to self-fix. And, it was never fully fixed/patched. Still, it is present after a decade of this post existing so it is safe to assume it will never actually get fixed.
and yeah I can understand the thought that people still play this game.
However, I did enjoy the game.
