Hey guys I had the same issue, I found the answer in another post. You just have to launch from Big Picture mode.

It started stuttering on me too, right after an update a few days ago. It stopped stuttering for me after a few minutes though. Sometimes. Wish I had tried launching the game from Big Picture mode sooner!

Is here anyone that have fixed the problem? I run the game on Surface 3 and the problems of sound make impossible playing it.

Thanks, That workaround works fine for me.

I guess the problem is probably that the game doesn't take exclusive control of the sound unless it's running in full-screen and something else is using it, that doesn't like to share it in Windowed mode or maybe your Audio is just too shoddy to handle multiple requests.

There is a setting in your Control Panel for Sound, which under the Advanced tab has an Exclusive Mode. If you experience stutters and these things are on, try to turn them off.

Something I recently realized was that for Battlefront's beta, it was crashing until I turned up my audio quality under control panel > hardware and sound > view audio devices. I never changed it back, and I'm also one of the people who have never had issues with this game. Is it possible that turning up your speaker's quality to the highest form of "Studio Quality" it will allow is the solution you're looking for?
