Game does not start

I have downloaded twice and installed twice, verified the cache and still the game won't even start. I have updated MAC software to newest OS, updated all drivers (including graphics card), restarted machine several times, closed all apps, changed resolutions, etc... and anytime I try to start the game, it immediately closes again. The window says:

"GrimFandango quit unexpectedly. click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple."

For everybody that is is having issues while in 10.7.5, our Minimum specs for OSX version is OSX Mavericks. Please ensure that you have the latest OSX version installed.

hey everyone, Double Fine Support finally responded to my question and it appears that their minimum requirements for the game are the Intel HD 4000 and most of us on here have an Intel HD 3000. I could've sworn I checked the requirements but most likely I only looked at the speed of the Intel card and 4 GB ram. Well, now I'm officially depressed, guys. Sure wish I could've played my favorite LucasArts game from childhood... Guess it's time to upgrade my laptop!

Those are not the latest drivers for the Intel HD 4000. The latest drivers were released in 1/8/2015 in the link below.

If you get a message saying that you cannot install these drivers, you must uninstall your current drivers before you apply the new one.
