Help with Toto

I'm at the part where I have to show the paper to Toto, but he won't get off the phone. I literally have no other tasks to do right now, if walkthroughs are to be believed. I've got a union card, and completely dealt with Naranja. I've restarted the game, gone out and back into the shop, and tried to see if I still needed to take something from Naranja. I even tried to go back to the morgue to maybe give him his tags back (?), but it was locked. No matter what I do, he just won't hang up the dang phone. Can anyone help?

Assuming that you've already dealt with ...

The Casino, where you turned off the rigged table that makes the inspector lose on his bets and thus loose his patience, which will cause him to raid and shut down Manny's Casino with the repercussions that Glottis will lose his creditability and be thrown out of the what's-its-name Lounge. And you've also acquired some tools for Glottis from the Bee, that got thrown in jail and then freed with the help of Nick the Lawyer..

Soo.. You are supposed to drop Naranja's tag in the flower beds in the Morgue and then give the Metal Detector, that you've got from Carla, to that guy in the Morgue so he can use it detect that tag and Naranja can be identified as the sprouted one.

If all that is in taken care of it should all click in place when you return to the boat.

Hi Angelina,

I assume you did everything in accordance with the various walkthroughs found throughout the internet.

The issue here is probably the cursor - try not to hover it over his head but over his body. There is something behind his head and if I remember correctly Manuel tries to "use" the paper on that thing instead of handing it to Toto.

It is not a glitch or bug that is game-breaking here. Simply how the cursor is recognised and it should have fine-tuned a little better.

I had the same problem. Manny kept trying to use it on the tattoo book behind Toto.

the tattoo puzzle can be solved at any point after acquiring the anchor card and dealing with Naranja in the tattoo parlour itself. you don't have to do any of those other things beforehand.
