Meche in safe bug

Hello...I played this game in the original style a long time ago. I am on my third time playing as this is a favorite. Anyway, game has been right on 99% of the time. I am stuck on Year 3 Under the sea. Dom has locked Meche in the safe. Problem: the tumblers are not showing up at all. Only Manny turning the wheel which leaves me blind to what is happening with tumblers.

Is there a workaround? If not, I'm stuck forever...and a day :) Thanks for any help.

It's been quite awhile since I played that part.. Don't have a save thanks to this silly slot system.. Bs.. If memory serves me correct you are supposed to.. use some familiar item to pry the hood off the lock so you can see what's going on underneath it

The outer door is off exposing the wheel. If I ember right, shouldn't when I turn the wheel, the tumblers should be there for me to manipulate?
