Tree Farm puzzle - the tree won't fall

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some help on the Tree Farm in year one, please. I've used the wheelbarrow to alter the pumps so that the two on the right strike together followed by the two on the left. The tree is rocking, but every time Glottis climbs up, Manny's verdict is that it's not moving enough.

I've checked a couple of Youtube walkthroughs and there doesn't appear to be much difference between their tree movement and mine. Have I come across a bug, or have I missed something?

As I remember it; you have to alter the pumps so that two on the left pump together and then two on the right will punp together... You will notice that the tree is moving much more than usual.
When you turn it off, Glottis will climb and you just pull the switch to start operating the pumps again...

Thanks, but it's still not working for me. I've done exactly as you say - and also what all the online guides says, but instead of the "ooh, careful, Manny"dialogue that should happen at this point, Glottis climb up and says the weights need to be moved around. He jumps back down and Manny says the movement isn't enough. Any more ideas? I'm beginning to question my own sanity!

Hey, just passed this part on PS4. The extra weight you need is actually Glottis himself. Try pulling the switch when he's up there and see what happens...
