The rule for every woke controversy:

NEVER BEND THE KNEE.

Do not apologize. Do not acquiesce. Do not retreat. Do not give them a smidgen of whatever they demand.

its a play on the term "Indian Giver", which i didnt know was suddenly racist.
What I DO know is that its just incorrect from its supposed origin, so using the term just makes u look dumb.

it's original origin was classified as an "americanism" and was also racist because remember folks: native americans are not indians.

it was also a term based on a misunderstanding because they didn't understand that the natives had a bartering system, not a form of currency.

so when they saw the natives trading items back and forth, they came up with the term indian giver as a way of stereotyping.

it was always originally racist, it was based on ignorance of a bartering system and they're calling them friggin indians when they're not indian.

but: as a native american myself; they shouldn't change the achievement name.

it fits, despite it's history.

CGP Grey found that most natives who live in reservations overwhelmingly use "Indians", and often abhor "Native Americans".

Indian deal is more accurate anyways. You made a deal with indians, then you took. Simple.
