Lol no, Indian Giver refers to the Native American people trading their land for pelts and other goods with European settlers, but then retroactively regretting the deals they made and saying they want their land back. I gave my buddy a plaid flannel jacket in highschool and he never wore it for like a year straight and I was offended and it was a cool jacket and I was really the only friend in the group who was even INTO plaid flannel. So I took the jacket back one night and he jokingly called me an Indian giver, first time I had ever heard it and had to have it explained to me.
