How to avoid police in dumpster?

Got caught by the police and no matter where i ran or for how long they still kept finding me, finally started losing wanted and hid in a dumpster (open, jump in crouch, close lid) and suddenly 3 of them were near me and started cuffing me. Option to open the lid vanished and I got arrested. Really frustrating. What was I supposed to do? Cant run, cant hide, cant hide in a dumpster and there were too many for me to try fighting because all of them kept proccing on me from miles away. I didnt know they also raided your house and take all your stock, i thought it would just be what you had on you. Really annoyed as Id only just managed to get anything grown

Don't let them see you get in the dumpster.
Its about LoS, line of sight, the police will never find you if you break that and stay out of it until the timer expires.
You can run but its slow. Get the Golden Skateboard and they can NEVER catch you. Get a little ways away and get in a dumpster. With that Golden Skateboard its easy. Can eve hid in a property this way.

Or buy a gun, a bunch of ammo and make the cops go to sleep.

Easiest way to avoid police in the dumpster.

Make it so there are no police to avoid in the first place.

Make some anti gravity weed with energetic so your really fast you can get on to buildings and crouch

I'd suggest getting on a roof top like scaling the edge of the Fat Dragon's roof to hide where the for sale sign sits, or running to the top of the parking garage and crouching till the wanted level fades, the police AI is still incapable of finding you up there last I checked.

Golden skateboard, and optionally book it back to one of your properties. As long as cops don't see you enter (and if you're speeding around on golden board they shouldn't) you can open the door and hide out inside until the alert is over.
