They can literally somehow find you no matter where the bleep you hide, no matter what trees or whatever, it doesn't matter.

Also its unrealstic that if you were just runnin from the police they would kill you. I've seen literal police chases where they haven't shot someone so its insane to me that if you don't attack nobody, your worse crime is avoidin a police search that they would be after you. Like bruh after awhile they'd like say "you know what, this is a waste of resources."

I understand why it shouldn't be as easy as in something like gta but christ. I ran from the police for ten staight minutes and couldn't find anywhere. And yeah the trash cans I think your supposed to hide in, but I thought oh they probally cant see me in the woods, how the hell are they this good at spotting you in a forest, wtf.

It certainly seems like that at first. Once you play for awhile the police actually become pretty under-powered. There are a bunch of places that they cannot go and you will find them. If you get the golden skateboard you can outrun them too. Another trick is to mix Grand Daddy Purple with paracetamol and Redbull and smoke that. It will let you jump on buildings and makes you run really fast. I have fun running from the police now and make them chase me for entertainment.

Sorry, but this is a skill issue. Get a golden skateboard, they can never catch you. Do sales at 4am, slide past the corner between the black market and taco ticklers and they can’t even catch you if you try.

If anything the cop AI needs to be about 10-20x more aggressive with raids on your buildings

A skateboard can help you create some distance. Then what you do is you turn behind a building, the cops lose line of sight, you find a dumpster with a cover, open it jump in, close the cover. The cops will likely come near and search, but if you really broke the line of sight before jumping in, they never open those dumpsters. Let time pass, get out when they are gone. It's very easy. If you can memorise where 2-3 such dumpsters are, it works every time.

you can 2 shot police with machete or 3 with baseball bat, they can't even shoot you if you are in front of them, their only decent weapon is the taser and even that gets hard countered by 2 machete hits.

you can also put a vehicle in front of police department and it will prevent them from leaving the place

I had this happen once. Just one time the cops were way more difficult to run from. After playing for a while I've gotten used to how to just avoid police attention and the few times they do spot me, I've found ways to get away quick. But that one time they came after me with a vengeance. The weren't using lethal force, but somehow they started coming out of nowhere trying to taser me. At least I got an achievement for it.

If you go up the ramp of the parkade that one of the dealers lives under the police don't know how to path up there. In fact they have trouble pathing around that building at all. You can literally walk away from them and they'll just forget you went up there. In general if you can climb your way onto a roof they just don't know what to do.

Or you can joust them with your melee weapon of choice by sprinting by and doing charged swings at them as you pass (you run faster than them and they like to do weird little dances instead of just directly chasing you). They'll rarely actually hit you and then you can beat them all into submission and run around as you like.

Or you can just not get caught by turning your back to them if they're still far away (police aggro range is less if you're not looking at them for some reason. Try it with the ones that hang out in front of the Taco Ticklers at night by walking backwards towards them and see how long it takes for them to notice you vs just looking at them normally).

The police are easy to dodge if you break LOS, line of sight.
After breaking LOS get in a garbage bin and close the lid. In a short while the will de agro. Or stay out of LOS, even getting into a property works.
Only sometimes will they open the bin and most times its because they saw you go in.

They are also easy to gun down.

Its even possible to run in circles around them at night and not let them agro if your fast enough.

The cops are NOT overpowered, they are a push over

If you want to power level, grab the baseball bat from the basketball court, deposit any cash you have and go hunt down the police. If you do this as soon as you get into town you will level like mad. It takes three swings with the bat to down someone, so you step forward into the blue circle around the cop, then start running backwards, start swinging as they run towards you. Get the status "Wanted dead or alive", let it cool down and go beat down some more cops. Great leveling.

Yes, sure the police can find you easily but thats the only thing they're great at, this can be easily mitigated by pulling out your fist, walk in front of them and smack them 4 times. How to beat every cop without getting hit, simple, when you walk towards a cop and see "cuffing" progress, just get out of the circle (shift+directional) and the cops would forget they had a weapon to begin with. Cops are perpetually stun locked into trying to capture you, so imo, No, cops aren't overpowered, they're just AI pigeons.

the police is quite easy to dodge. the only reason why i even have the achievement for getting caught is cause i wanted the achievement lol.

Literally just run away through streets. dont jump in the first garbage bin you see lol
