Thank the God of open air shooting galleries for that. I'm glad it is in fact a bug and that the dev wasn't intentionally shooting for some Phasmophobia knockoff, jump scare vibe. The sound of circling footsteps and desperate, pleading voices through a wall from someone you can't see in the wee hours is really unsettling.
To be honest i just said what you asked for, i have no idea if the dev is fixing or even aware of the issue ^^
One can reasonably expect this will be patched at a later stage as the game's development progresses, when the time is right.
Put another way: this is just one of those "early stages of the game's development" things. Not necessarily a bug, just WIP.
Myself, i like those sales, we can seel so much to them for a jacked up price most times especially if its a product they love and high quality. Easy extra monies.
Employees at properties often ignore solid objects, even walls, for their interactions with work stations. The barn property is one of the worst; I have employees who will exit the barn and path around the outside (even though it is a longer distance to travel) just to interact through the wall then trudge all the way back indoors to the next objective.
I know in the game its just a bug, but it isn't unrealistic. ^_^
