Game wont load in multiplayer

So as I said in the title, I try to join a friend's game but I get stuck on "Loading Data" indefinitely... any way to fix this or am I missing something?

I use warp+, only after disabling it MP started working. Some guy said that this game uses direct connection instead of steam servers. Maybe you have a similar program (hamachi, radmin). in any case, the root of the problem is somewhere there

is your friend playing with one of their friends who's hosting? This happened to me and the problem was that I didn't have the host on my steam friends list

just started happeneing with my group too. host can load in fine, but me and our other friend can't join anymore. just gets stuck on loading world.

Kinda doo doo ass, was enjoying the game for the bit we got to play it.
