Cannot Even Get To The Game

Saw the game available on Steam so added it. But when you click play all I get is a black screen. Not exactly inspiring me to try this let alone keep it in my library. Disappointing.

Have you tried quitting the game and relaunching? The black screen happened to me after applying all of the updates but when I closed and relaunched the game was fine.

I'm having the same issue, only started happening when the update came out. Tried on Epic Launcher too but had the same issue.

For me it goes into "retrieving version details" gets to 20% and then there's a pop-up window with some udate error and you can only exit the game. Nothing helps or works, it never updated till the end on epic games either (that's how I tried installing steam version instead) so now I can't play even if I played since launch. This is so frustrating
