game not launching on pc

i have uninstalled and reinstalled this game twice and it will NOT launch on my PC. i have yet to try on steam deck. its so frustrating and i was wondering if anybody is having the same issue or knows how to fix it?

There's a known issue related to some recent windows update. When starting the game it gives a black screen and never goes past it. All you can do is closing and restarting the game until it finally load. I have to restart the game twice or thrice before it starts.

ty, i tried this and after like 10 times of restarting with no luck i gave up. i shouldn't have to try that hard to open a game :,,,,,(

Have you tried downloading the official global launcher from Infold instead of through steam?

I ask because the most problems I've had was when using steam to launch the game. Global launcher loads up every time for me. Yes, plenty of bugs/glitches going on still, but it has been playable that way so far.

without knowing anything about your system its hard to give advice but have you tried putting -d3d11 in launch options? I've heard this has worked for some people by forcing direct x 11 instead of using 12. Also yes the steamdeck runs this game really well as long as you don't mess with the recommended settings. I was able to get 60 fps with steamdeck. I did also try putting everything on ultra but fps dropped down to 20.

I have the same issue, in my case this only happens with the Steam version though, I suggest getting the game directly from Infold

For me the steam version also just quits to desktop. The solo launcher loads properly
