Same here. I tried lowering quality settings but there really isn’t much left to change.

I really want help getting it to run nicely. It’s literally unplayable with the fps and I’m sad I have to have all graphics on the lowest setting.
After getting out of the new season introduction area, the framerate improves but yeah it's rough on steam deck so far.

It is just rough in the new opening area for the game. Once you get out of that first area it is much better.
The graphics and lag are awful, even more so if connected to a television via HDMI. I really hope they work on this.

Tested on a SteamDeck LCD.
the game is unstable to say the least but I manage to get a decent performance with the following settings.

Before you open the game do this:
  • Go to game Properties>Compatibility>Force the use of a specific compatibility tool>Proton Hotfix
Now open the game and press the '...' button then Go to the performance tab and enable "Use per-game profile" and limit the frame rate to 30fps.
    As for in-game settings
  • Frame rate limit = Unlimited.
  • Vertical Sync = Off.
  • Dynamic Res = Off.
  • Super Res Method = TSR>Quality and medium.
  • Graphics Details = Go all medium
except for Texture Quality = High.
  • Motion Blur = Off.
    Leave everyting else to default.
You might encounter some disconnection issues, other than that I really hope this helps (◍•ᴗ•◍)

I was getting 60fps easily launching it as a "non steam" game before this most recent steam deck update, but now I just get a driver error when trying to launch the game (steam and non-steam)

Wow, thank you. I've been struggling with a lot of motion blur (can't even use the camera on steam deck) and weirdly spotty graphics because by default the game just sets everything very low. Instant improvement with these settings.

Performance is acceptable on the ROG Ally. 1080p medium, get around 30-45 fps.
I have a Steam Deck OLED.
My settings are higher, but not all maxed.
I've been playing on the Limited Edition Steam Deck with no significant issues. I had the non Steam version installed on the Deck earlier and it was also running fine.
