ISSUE WITH OPENING GAME! PLEASE HELP!

I have the game through both steam and infold lancher but everytime I try to open it through steam, nothing happens. I'm looking at task manager and the game doesn't even show up for a spit second.

It wasn't that it was that I needed to run Steam as admin lol, I nothing was running and to actually open it (not get into the workd) but to finish the downloading.

Don't recall ever needing to run Steam as Admin.

Is anyone else noticing their previous (non-epic game just the straight nikki launcher) is on 1.2.0 but the one installed from Steam has its own launcher folder with version 1.2.1? My old launcher still works to launch the game and get all the way to the 'game is down' error, but the new steam installed launcher gets the 'resource verification failed' error and doesn't actually launch the game? Anyone experiencing the same thing - version difference issues or just cuz the game isn't up Steam's installed launcher isn't working?

The user I use on my laptop isn't admin and when running certain games I need to put the admin password lol

Try reverifying the files, I uninstalled the straight Nikki launcher so I don't know about the 1.2.0 and 1.2.1 stuff.

If you're asking about the on that every time I tried to run the game, nothing would run, then yes I found the fix. I had to open Steam as admin. I have Genshin on my laptop and since my user isn't admin and for whatever reason it needs to be run as admin I need to put in the admin password. I've noticed that for these types of games, you need to run them as admin. For infinity Nikki when I press play, a window pops open asking for the admin password and when I put it in nothing happens and on task manager nothing related to infinity Nikki has opened nor closed. Idk why stuff like this is happening but when I right clicked steam and ran it as admin and then opened infinity Nikki, the program would open and I could get in.

I'm guessing your issue was a graphical issue lol, I'm curious about what exactly was happening that wasn't working. I want to see if it's a same symptoms different fix or we had different symptoms lol.

Start from inside Steam or from the launcher that Steam opens up?

Open with Steam, then start from the launcher
