Transfer progress

Will it be possible to transfer progress from the official launcher to Steam?
I know a lot of games where this is not available

Currently the claims made by the game devs are that published versions across the different hardware operating systems are all interchangeable in that you can continue progress on any platform.

I use PC, and would expect seamless transitions to iPhone and back - I would expect no less from Steam.

But I'm not a crystal ball expert, strange things sometimes happen.

As long you use the same account I believe it would transfer. I played on Android (bluestack. it was awful) initially and then transfer my progress to Epic version. It would be weird if it's somehow unable to transfer to Steam Version.

The only concern that I can foresee for now is the possibility that Steam version forces you to login using Steam Account. This kind of issue usually can be circumvented by binding your steam account to the Infinity Nikki account. (Which is something I did for Epic Version)

We'll see when it actually out, but I'd say not to worry for now.

I can list many gachas that can't crossplay, of the ones I know of HI3, ToF and Snowbreak, none of them allowed you to transfer phone and epic games progress to steam.
I wonder if the same will happen with Infinity Nikki.

your save in Nikki is all linked to one account, so you can play on Steam, Epic, Phone, or PS5 and it is all cross save

not for photos and some other data like settings that's stored locally. i've lost a ton of my photos because of my laptop dying, since then i've mostly been playing on steam deck and i want to download the steam version now for the achievements and hopefully better controls but i really want to carry over all the photos from my epic launcher to the steam game. i've already backed them up but i want to be able to look at them in my ingame album

Only uploaded via SnapShot function are saved on their servers (and ones in Steam saved on Steam cloud), the rest of puictures are saved in other folders, that I described in this topic:

Guess what; Epic also has empty folder of screenshots if you installed it there first time

I login with gmail and can just goto any system or platform to access my account. I think as long as you login with the same you will be fine.

What's the name of the game files folder in steam commons? Want to transfer without re-downloading if possible.
