What does kernel level anti cheat mean?

You don’t need to do anything, but I think it’s controversial since if it’s anything like Denuvo it’ll lurk on your computer, scraping data, and never going away. I don’t know much about it but it gets some people very angry. Probably for good reason tbh.

Denuvo isn't lurking on your computer rofl.
Denuvo is just doing a daily/weekly/monthly (depends on what the contract wants) check.
Don't spread nonsense if you don't even know what you are talking about please.

EDIT : I add that the check is just made when you launch the game which as Denuvo attached in it. It sucks I know but it won't be used without the user to interact with an .exe with Denuvo.

The chinese anticheat will just check your computer (exe/services/anything) when you will log to it, then it could do it with intervals, to check if you are using Cheat Engine or anything like a trainer.
For sure it won't look at your browser history, it would just report in China that you are using Chrome(Shame on you)/Firefox/Edge or anything else.

You don't need to do anything but you cannot use Windows 11 at its maximum level of "security" if you want to play this (because it would mean nothing can access the Kernel but Microsoft)

I said I wasn’t an expert, but whenever anti-cheat/tamper software comes up people seem to lose their ♥♥♥♥. Google will show you page after page of people concerned about their privacy and it’s hard to know who to believe. I’m not ‘spreading’, just making observations.

If the Chinese anti-cheat is fine then great news, obviously.

It means it's a bit of software that has access to everything on your computer (kernel level has full access). And you can only pray there isn't a malicious part in that code inserted by an rogue employee or company policy. Or a bug that will do huge damage for a random reason.

Or perhaps it will only collect information from your computer. I hope you are not working under NDA.

They will snuck inside your kernel process, and make mess of it. If it does making any issues once this game releases in this platform, I simply tell to Infold thru their CS and ask them "Hey, ACE messes up in game and off-game performance on my machine. please detach it"; or if there other Stylist has a way to disable it manually

I heard some Delta Force players has manually shut up ACE from making performance issues

Yeah thats why i immediately removed it from my WL. I aint too comfortable with it.
